Anti-Social Media Outcast
It’s been a while since I’ve been sad about the path my favorite social network has taken.
Twitter was bought by a billionaire who did everything to make the network unbearable for an artist who values humanity.
Over the years I’ve built a base of nearly 20,000 followers, with whom I’ve shared and learned a lot about art.
I made more than 30,000 tweets, questioning, seeking knowledge, and trying to teach what I learned on my journey as an artist. They will be gone by tomorrow because I don’t want them to feed Musk’s new AI.
I was lucky that people I’m a fan of interacted with my art, I made friends on other continents, and I got jobs around the world because of this network.
But I feel that it, as a place of pleasant exchange, is coming to an end.
I hope people find each other again on Bluesky or Mastodon, as I don’t feel like devoting my time to the other billionaire’s network.
With that, I had the idea of setting up a blog, like the old ones did. Here I will share my art and my thoughts but in a more elaborate way.
I don’t have a rule, I started this space out of the need to express myself without having my thoughts and images trained by an AI.

Já faz um tempo que eu estou triste com o caminho que minha rede social favorita tomou.
O Twitter foi comprado pelo bilionário que fez de tudo para que a rede se tornasse insuportável para um artista que valoriza a humanidade.
Ao longo dos anos construí uma base de quase 20 mil seguidores, com os quais compartilhei e aprendi muito sobre arte.
Fiz mais de 30 mil tweets, questionando, buscando conhecimento e tentando ensinar o que eu aprendia na minha jornada como artista. Eles serão apagados amanhã pois não quero que eles alimentem a IA do Musk.
Tive a sorte de que pessoas das quais sou fã interagissem com minha arte, fiz amigos em outros continentes, consegui trabalhos mundo a fora por causa dessa rede.
Mas sinto que ela, como lugar de troca agradável, está chegando ao fim.
Espero que as pessoas se reencontrem no Bluesky ou Mastodon, pois não tenho vontade de dedicar meu tempo a rede do outro bilionário.
Com isso, tive a ideia de montar um blog, como os antigos faziam. Aqui irei divulgar minha arte e meus pensamentos, mas de forma mais elaborada.
Não tenho uma regra, comecei esse espaço pela necessidade de me expressar sem que meus pensamentos e imagens sejam treinados por uma IA.
